These environmental pieces
are on the threshold between
painting and sculpture.
 
The process of creating them is ‘hands-on’
and, somewhat, meditative.
 
"They speak to me of a time when
it was the norm to honour and celebrate
the Seasons, Nature and Mother Earth.
 
In these artworks,
I often include some spirals.
Sometimes, cutting one or two loose  
for the wind to play with."
 
They are painted on special canvas,
so they can spend time outside.
